Pacers Breaking Out the Classic Pinstripes on Friday

The Pacers will be wearing their classic pinstripe uniforms on Friday when they host the Miami Heat for the second time this season. The game will be aired on ESPN, in addition to FOX Sports Indiana.

Paul George Pinstripe JerseyThese uniforms, as seen exclusively on Pacers.com, may be classified as retro, but they were worn less than a decade ago. When Hall of Famer Reggie Miller retired, the Pacers introduced the new-look uniforms that they wear today.

The stylish and popular pinstripe uniforms were worn from1997-98 to 2004-05, including the teams’ NBA Finals appearance during the 1999-2000 season.

The Heat will also be wearing NBA Hardwood Classics.

As if you you needed an extra incentive to check out the Pacers and the Heat at beautiful Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday.

Note: Indiana’s pinstripe jerseys — for George Hill, Paul George, Danny Granger, David West and Roy Hibbert — will be available for about $100 in the Pacers Home Court gift shop and online at PacersGear.com, beginning Friday.
