Denari’s Den: Paul George

By now you know the story.  A scoreless game at Golden State.  An early return to the gym to work out.  A total change in mindset.  And now third-year Pacer Paul George is playing the best basketball of his career.  Even with the 0 points against the Warriors, Paul averaged almost 19 points in December and has continued to rebound, pass the ball and play defense at a very high level.  It’s no coincidence that the Pacers started to take off as a team when Paul realized what he needed to do for the team.  He was in Denari’s Den in November, and now as the calendar turns to 2013, the former Fresno State star returns and shares in his words why his game is better.

Chris Denari is in his seventh season as the Pacers' television play-by-play announcer and has been involved in broadcasting sports in Indianapolis for more than 25 years. In 2003, he was named the Indiana Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association Broadcaster of the Year. He also serves as the radio and television play-by-play announcer for the WNBA's Indiana Fever, which he has done for the past 13 seasons.
