NBA Unkind to Pacers: Bulls Game Moved to Feb. 4
The NBA announced Wednesday that the postponed Pacers-Bulls game on Dec. 26 has been rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 4 at 7 PM EST.
That date didn’t sit well with many in the Pacers organization because it means the team will have the league’s only back-to-back-to-back games all year.
“It’s really out of our control,” Vogel said after hearing the news. “We have to play three games in three nights but we played three games in three nights several times last year and did pretty well with it. Our guys are tough-minded so we’ll be ready to play.
“I thought we might play it the day after it was canceled on the 26th…When nature calls, you got to make adjustments and we’ll make the best of it.”
All three games are against playoff-caliber teams.
“It’s going to be tough,” Paul George said. “It’s kind of like last year, I guess. It’s like a lockout schedule but we have to be ready for it. That’s a game we should easily be up for since it’s a division game.
The Bulls on the other hand, have nothing on the two days following the game.
The Pacers now have 12 games in February, 10 of which are at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Here’s a glance at how the Pacers open the month of February:
Friday, Feb. 1 vs Miami – 7 PM
Monday, Feb. 4 vs Chicago – 7 PM
Tuesday, Feb. 5 vs Atlanta – 7 PM
Wednesday, Feb. 6 at Philadelphia – 7 PM
Friday, Feb. 8 vs Toronto – 7 PM
